Privacy policy

Djinn's Food is a food site. There are no visitor accounts, no newsletter and no shopping. This page explains the small amount of data that does move around when you read it.

What we collect directly

Nothing. There is no sign-up form, no comment box and no tracking pixel of our own. We do not ask for your name, email address or location, and we do not build a profile of you.

What our host records

The site runs on Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel records ordinary request logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — for security and to keep the service running. We use these only in aggregate, and we cannot identify you from them.

Videos

Videos are hosted on YouTube and embedded here. Nothing is requested from Google until you press play: the thumbnail you see before that is a plain image, and the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. Once you press play, YouTube and Google may set cookies and receive data about that view under Google's own privacy policy.

Advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
